LSU Large Animal Clinic is part of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, one of only 32 fully accredited veterinary schools in the U.S. The clinic operates a Veterinary Teaching Hospital open 24​/​7, 365 days a year, with an Equine Health division that provides comprehensive care for a variety of species. The facility offers both specialty services and primary care, treating approximately 21,000 cases annually with a mission to improve and protect the lives of animals and people through superior education, transformational research, and compassionate care.
