James River Equine Services is a mobile equine veterinary practice serving Central Virginia since 1998, providing on-the-farm care under the direction of Dr. Jeff Shane, DVM. Dr. Shane offers comprehensive wellness exams, dental evaluations, parasite testing, nutritional consultation, and diagnostic imaging including digital x-rays and ultrasound, with a commitment to compassionate care and horse owner education. The practice is available for routine appointments Monday through Friday and provides 24​/​7 emergency support.
