Wendel Mobile Equine Veterinary Services, led by Dr. Tom Wendel, a Texas A&M graduate and former orthopedic surgeon on the racetrack, provides equine sports medicine and general services to the Aiken, South Carolina area and surrounding counties, including licensed service into Georgia. The mobile practice offers in-field diagnostic and treatment capabilities including direct digital radiography, ultrasound, shockwave therapy, biologics, joint injections, chiropractic services, and upper airway and gastro endoscopy. In addition to sports medicine services, Wendel Mobile Equine provides general equine care including vaccines, Coggins testing, and health certificates, with emergency and after-hours services available on a case-by-case basis.
